Using social media likes as an informal poll, my top two poems from National Haiku Writing Month are . . .

:: drumroll ::  <–[Nah; just kidding.]

waiting for the train . . .

the weight of the sun

on my back

 . . . and . . .

searching for third gear —

the too-long whine

of second

Thank you for taking the time to read my posts!

NaHaiWriMo 2021

National Haiku Writing Month has arrived again, here to divert us from the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic as snow drifts down and drifts pile up.  ;- )

This year’s NaHaiWriMo poems, written and posted daily to Facebook and Twitter, will be posted here on Fridays in an end-of-the-week roundup.
